I spent most of my life not knowing about Wes Anderson films and going through all of them and the few shorts like these has been one hell of an experience. This is one of the most grounded ones I've seen and reminds me of a very similar conversation I had with a previous partner. The part about being friends hit hard.

wish we had one with Peter and Alice, maybe Francis crashing into the hill… Though Jack's story does work best as a short film somehow, perhaps because he's the writer, but most likely because it was the most open-ended in TDL- direct quotes were given but little context, leaving the most room for something like this to be made. Francis and Peter's stories were pretty self-explanatory.
